How to see your YouTube Wrapped

Quick answer

YouTube doesn’t offer a full Wrapped with detailed stats. TubeWrapped is a companion tool for YouTube that lets you track your viewing stats every day: time spent on YouTube, videos watched, favorite creators and much more. Install the extension for free on Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera to track your activity, compare your stats with your friends’ and share your Wrapped.

Example YouTube Wrapped

What is a YouTube Wrapped?

The name comes from Spotify Wrapped, the year-in-review Spotify sends its users every December. A YouTube Wrapped is the same idea for YouTube: a visual summary of what you watched, with numbers that are easy to read and share.

In practice, it answers questions everyone asks at some point: how much time do I really spend on YouTube? Which channel do I watch the most? What time of day do I watch?

What’s inside your Wrapped

With TubeWrapped, your Wrapped brings together the following stats, for the whole year or month by month:

  • Watch timeTotal hours spent on YouTube and your daily average. Ads are never counted.
  • Videos watchedEvery video you actually watched, not just the ones you clicked on.
  • Creators watchedHow many different channels you watched over the period.
  • Top creatorsYour favorite channels, ranked by time spent and number of videos.
  • Day-by-day activityA heatmap and a chart to spot your peaks and breaks.
  • Your recordsYour longest streak of consecutive days and your most active day.
  • What defines youYour viewer profile: night owl, binge-watcher, channel surfer…
  • And much more…Your Shorts, your viewing hours, your month-by-month evolution and other surprises to discover.

Every number is compared with the previous period (up or down), and a summary card lets you share your year in a single image.

Add friends and share your Wrapped

TubeWrapped is also a small social network around YouTube: pick a username, add your friends and see what they watch.

  • Add friends by searching for their username.
  • See their Wrapped and compare your years on YouTube.
  • Share yours as a single image on social media.
  • Public or private account: you decide who sees your stats.

How to see your YouTube Wrapped with TubeWrapped

TubeWrapped is a browser extension. Once installed, it builds your Wrapped from what you watch on YouTube. There’s nothing to export or set up: three steps are enough.

What happens next?

Nothing else to do. Keep watching YouTube as usual and your stats update on their own: the extension syncs automatically every two hours. Switch between the Year and Month views to follow how your habits change.
