Privacy Policy for TubeLoop, TubeSpeed, TubeTheme and TubeSkip

This policy covers the four browser extensions published by TubeWrapped: TubeLoop (Looper for YouTube), TubeSpeed (Speed Controller for YouTube), TubeTheme (YouTube Theme & Color Changer) and TubeSkip (Automatic Ad Skipping & Pop-Up Blocking for YouTube).

These extensions collect no personal data, create no account and send nothing to any server. Everything they do happens inside your browser.

1. Data we collect

None. The extensions do not collect, store or transmit any personal or sensitive information: no name, no email address, no browsing history, no watch history, no location, no analytics and no advertising identifiers.

2. What is saved, and where

Each extension saves only your own settings, in your browser's local extension storage:

TubeLoop: whether loop is on or off.
TubeSpeed: the playback speed you chose.
TubeTheme: the theme and colors you chose.
TubeSkip: whether each of its three switches (Skip ads, Speed up ads, Block ad pop-ups) is on or off, and two counters shown in its popup — the number of ads skipped and the minutes saved. These counters are simple totals: they record nothing about which videos or ads you watched.

These settings never leave your device, are never sent to us, and are deleted when you remove the extension.

3. Why the extensions need access to YouTube

Each extension runs on www.youtube.com only, and solely to provide the feature you installed it for: adding its button to the YouTube player, replaying the video you are watching, applying the playback speed you set, applying the colors you picked, or skipping, speeding up and hiding ads. The extensions read no other page content, and they run on no other website.

4. Permissions

Storage: to remember your settings between sessions.
Access to www.youtube.com: to apply the feature on the YouTube page you are viewing.
Scripting (TubeTheme only): to apply your theme to YouTube tabs that were already open when you installed or updated the extension.

5. Sharing and selling data

We have no data to share. Nothing is sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties, and nothing is used for advertising, credit assessment or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single feature.

6. Children

The extensions are not directed at children and, as stated above, collect no data from anyone.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
